A semi-solid dosage form based on the intimate mixture of an oleogel and an aqueous gel for topical and transdermal applications. Bi-Gel products are based on a surfactant-free formula and can accommodate both lipophilic and water soluble drugs. APTYS Pharmaceuticals owns a product based on testosterone bigel which reached clinical phase II/III.
