Depot technology

Based on its strong experience in injectable depot formulations, Aptys develops a new product which has the big advantage to allow encapsulating fragile molecules such as peptides and proteins. It is a small implant of 1.2mm diameter and 0.5 to 1 cm length which is manufactured at low temperature. After sub cutaneous injection, the implant, containing biodegradable pharmaceutical grade polymer, slowly releases the protein for several weeks to several months.
